After 2 years you will be automatically licensed to ride any size motorcycle. To apply for a restricted motorcycle licence you will need to complete and have a valid CBT certificate and theory test certificate. Zero to Hero'THE REAL GUARANTEED PASS SCHEME'. Please see our page dedicated to this course here for more information. Advanced TrainingWe run Advanced Training Courses throughout the year for those riders who have already passed their motorcycle test and would like further training. Based on Police Motorcycle Road craft, advanced motorcycling courses cover over 100 miles per day. Courses are tailored to suit the individual and typically cover all aspects of advanced road craft. Refresher CoursesIf it's been a long time and you are since you last rode a motorcycle and are thinking of returning to motorcycling, think bike provides a refresher course to inform and teach you the new techniques based your skill level. Riding a motorbike can be exhilarating, but motorbike technology has progressed, the bikes you may have ridden in the past may have been slower, didn't corner very good and quite often didn't want to stop either. Today's bikes are technological masterpieces. They're built using lighter materials, have very powerful engines, large radial tyres, disc brakes and are often fitted with traction control and anti-lock brakes. The best riders have developed a higher level of concentration than the average rider and are continually scanning around them for signs of possible danger. They don't wait for something to develop. Everything is planned, they travel at a safe speed with the bike in the right gear and in the safest position on the road. You'll find most of these riders have taken defensive riding courses and are constantly developing these skills. It's a sad fact, but riders returning to biking after a long period of time without training are more vulnerable and are likely to be involved in an accident in their first two weeks of riding. All of our instructors are enthusiastic motorcyclists who are happy to pass on their knowledge. Power CourseIf you have just passed your test, moved up to a bigger bike or returning to motorcycling then one of our power courses could help you. The power course is a one day training course with a qualified instructor and helps to raise your riding awareness, improve your riding skills and boosts your confidence. A radio link is used on this course and also includes motorway riding, motorcycle maintenance and much much more. Theory TestAll new motorcyclists and drivers must take and pass the theory test before the practical test. We can help you best prepare for the theory and hazard perception element.
